James Ronald Sanders was called home to the Lord on February 22, 2021 at the age of 69.
He was preceded in death by both his mother and father, Neva and James Sanders. Also by his brother, Larry M. Sanders.
He was survived by his brothers, Danny L. Sanders and Terry D. Sanders; and a sister, Janie Borah-Spence; plus many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jim was born on May 5, 1951 in St. Louis, Mo. He graduated from Southwest high in 1969. Jim went to work at a company called Prince Gardner for 8 yearsas a leather cutter. At the age of about 28 Jim moved to Southern California where he resided for 33 years and worked as an accountant, and was an outreach minister. The last 8 years, due to severe health issues Jim moved to North Texas to live with his sister, Janie and brother-in-law, Mack. He was a man with an amazing sense of humor and put smiles on may people's faces. He will be forever missed and loved by his family andby so many friends who he touch lives with during his journey here on earth.
At his request, he wants no funeral, nor memorial service. His body will be cremated andhis ashes scattered at a later date. If u would like to donate to one of his favorite charities in his name, please donate to: St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
