In Loving Memory

It is with deep sorrow that we announce Homer D. Yarborough passed away Friday November 21, 2025, at the age of eighty-one surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Homer will be remembered by many for his kindness, knowledge and unique personality.

Homer was born October 31, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas to Clarence and Maudie Yarborough. While going to school he met his high school sweetheart, Doris who later became his loving wife and best friend and partner of sixty -one years. Homer loved adventure, fishing, hunting and gambling, but mostly spending time with family and friends. Homer was a soft-spoken man that never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He definitely left a great legacy.

Homer D. Yarborough is survived by wife, Doris Yarborough, son, Clay Yarborough and wife Michelle; daughter, Tiffany Yarborough and David Minard; granddaughters, Reagan and Jordan Yarborough; great-granddaughters, Hunter and Riann; his brothers, Stanley and Dewain Yarborough; and sister, Deborah Yarborough. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Maudie Yarborough; his brothers, Jesse, Clarence Lavon, Terry and Michael Yarborough; and sisters, Phyllis Yarborough and Kathryn Barber.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 852 W. Bedford Euless Rd., Hurst, TX  76053.
