Obituary

Darlene passed away peacefully in her home on December 8th, 2018 in Midlothian Texas, surrounded by family and the angels of mercy from Hospice of Texas.
Darlene was a warm, intelligent matriarch providing guidance, direction, and warmth to all she encountered. Born in Pueblo Colorado May 28th, 1939 to Joseph and June Anderson, Darlene embarked on a life mission that was not to be matched.
Whether it be her commitment to her immediate family, or the first woman computer programmer in the U.S.A. with NCR Corporation, Darlene was 100 percent invested in each endeavor she participated, and encountered. Darlene always embraced challenges and supported family, friends, and causes close to her heart as she negotiated the daily "works" of life.
Darlene is survived by her Son Jarett Gollaway, Daughter Caprice Gollaway, Grandchildren RyLee Gollaway, Reagan Gollaway, and Tanner Gollaway. Nephews and Nieces' , Barry Anderson, Kelly Anderson, Kevin Aten, Kyla Dennison, and Sisters La Deane Aten and Sharon Bergeson (Anderson), cousin Carl Anderson, and many beloved Colorado family members from today and tomorrow.
Darlene was preceded in death by Joe and June Anderson (Father and Mother) , Kyle Gollaway (Husband), Josh Gollaway (Son) and will rest with Kyle and Josh for eternity in Durango, Colorado.
Memorial to be conducted June 7th at 1:00 p.m. at Greenmount Cemetery in Durango Colorado, reception to follow.
Please do not bring food or beverage as it will be provided.
