Heidemarie Merisola Smith, 76, of Weatherford passed away Monday, August 24, 2020.
She was born in Wurtzburg, Germany on September 6, 1943 and came to the United States of America in 1965.She became a citizen on May 1, 1968 which she said was one of her proudest moments.Heide was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Peter Smith; her parents, Heinrich and Emilie Loeloff; and her grandson, Paxton Harrison. Heide, as she was called by family and friends, loved the outdoors, animals, and gardening. Her favorite past time was tending to her roses and playing with Tommy, her blue and gold Macaw.Heide and Tommy could carry on conversations together for hours.
Heidemarie is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Rene' and Roger Fairman, Michelle and Rodney Hetmer Christine and Roman Osborne; grandchildren; Shandi and Buddy Kemp, Bradley Fairman, Anthony and Autumn Fairman, Shelby Harrison, Cynthia, Cecila, and Mason Osborne; and ten great grandchildren.
