On September 22, 2022 a truly beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed on at the age of 71. Glen was released from his physical constraints to travel the universe just like he always dreamed. Glen was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. A true Texan in every sense of the word. The last of his time was spent at the Bird residence on the shore of Possum Kingdom Lake.

Glen was preceded by his Mother, Thelma and his Father, Olney. One of his passions was coaching little league baseball for the Westside Lions alongside his Dad. He is survived by his sister, Helen and her husband, Rex and his son,Jason and wife, Lisa and his grandchildren Ti, Briana, and Alana.

One of the things that will be most missed by the grandchildren are the gifts that he sent on birthdays and holidays. It was not because they were extravagant, but because they were so thought out and meaningful. Glen treasured his grandchildren. Those close to him would tell you that he was the definition of what a true friend should be. Glen spent the last several years of his life traveling the country in a fifth wheel trailer living his best version of life. Being an avid reader he was always on a never ending quest for knowledge and understanding.

There will be a remembrance of life celebration in his honor on April 8th. It will be held at Angelo's Barbecue Restaurant In Fort Worth from 3 to 6. All are invited and the only thing you need to bring is memories and stories. Food will be provided.
