With great sadness, we announce the passing of Georgiann Garratt, a devoted and loving mother of three and grandmother of one who passed away on Thursday, April 27th, 2023. Georgiann was a resident of Dallas, Texas, surrounded by family and friends.

She was a loving mother to her three children, Kalie Ellison, Michelle Garratt and Jackson Garratt all from Dallas, and a fantastic Grandmother to Skylar Ellison-Hill of Tyler. Georgiann's love for her children and grandchildren was boundless, and always putting them first in her life. She was a constant source of support and strength, and her children knew they could always count on her for guidance and love.

Georgiann was born on March 8th, 1968, in Atlanta, Ga. where she grew up with her four sibling Margie, Joe, Marijo, and Bill of Atlanta, Ga. She is preceded in death by her mother Marguerite Jackson her father William Jackson and sister Marijo Maloof. She was a woman of many talents and interests. She was known for her warm smile and kind heart, and she always went out of her way to help those in need.

Her passing has left a profound void in the hearts of her family and friends. Her legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will live on through her children and grandchildren and all who knew her. She constantly made sure everyone felt loved and deeply she cared about every person in her life.

A celebration of life service to celebrate Georgiann's life will be held in the future. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Children's Hospital of Dallas in honor of Georgiann's memory.
