Gary M. (Mike) Waldie died on Friday, June 17, 2022.  He was born December 6, 1941, to Helen and Bill Waldie at St. Paul's Hospital in Dallas, Texas.  He had an older sister, Nancy, now deceased.

He lived in Mississippi and Texas growing up and graduated from Denison High School in 1958. He then went on to attend college at North Texas State University. In 1966 he married Ann. They have two daughters, Leighann and Colbie. Later, he married his second wife, Connie. They have one daughter, Carrie.

Throughout his lifetime, Mike was employed in sales and service positions for various companies. His last position was with Walmart, for 11 years.  He was a hard worker and received many awards during his work life.

He is survived by his wife Connie, his daughters, eight grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

People remember Mike as a quiet guy with a dry sense of humor who deeply loved his family and friends. He enjoyed coin collecting, his two dogs Rusty and Sandy, the Dallas Cowboys, fishing, and being outdoors.
