On Sunday July 15th, Gary Lyle Harper, owner and operator of Cardinal Service Company for over 40 years, passed away peacefully in Fort Worth, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ernestine Harper; his beloved wife, Christine; his eldest son, Andy; his daughter, Denise; and his siblings, Butch, Joan, and Doreen.

He is survived by his children, Kathy, Chris, Gene and his wife Jan, Jon Tor and his wife Terry, Everett and his wife Whitney, numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and the last of his many cats, Moocha.

He was born in Montana in 1936 and will be cremated and returned to his home state at a later date. His laughter and humor will be greatly missed.

There will be a celebration of life from 6 to 8 p.m., on Friday July 20th at Ol' South Pancake House on University Drive in Fort Worth, where he spent many happy hours over the years. Due to his love of animals, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to the Humane Society of North Texas.
