Gabriela Reyna Gonzales, 75, of Fort Worth passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019.
She was born in Dallas, Texas on November 12, 1943 to Gabriel and Dominga Reyna.
After her parents premature death, she was raised by her uncle Frank "Kiko" Reyna and brought to Fort Worth, Texas where she resided. In July of 1962, she was united in marriage to Jose Gonzales.
Gabriela worked as a home health nurse over 10 years until she retired in 2005. She spent most of her life helping others and taking care of her family. Nothing in this world meant more to her than the ones she loved. She raised her grandchildren and great grandchildren teaching them love and values.
Gabriela enjoyed reading the paper, drinking her morning coffee, and watching movies. She was known for her beautiful heart and delicious food. Especially her turkey dressing. She was of Christian faith and will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gabriel and Dominga Reyna; sister, Momesta Reyna; half brother, Amado Reyna; uncle, Frank Reyna; mother in law, Josephine Calderon; brother in law, Manuel Olivarez.
Gabriela is survived by her husband, Jose Gonzales; children, John Gonzales, Joann Salazar and husband, Frank Salazar; sisters, Delfina Reyna Espitia and Rosie Reyna Olivarez; grandchildren, Frankie and Valerie Salazar; great grandchildren, Savannah and Alyssa Galvan.
