Obituary

Frankie Wayne Geraldon was born on Oct 13, 1945, to Clyde and Fannie Geraldon.He departed this life peacefully on Feb 10, 2019, holding the hand of his bride of 50 years, Terry Geraldon.
Frankie went from holding Terry's hand to holding the hand of Jesus.
Frankie and Terry were married in 1969 and were blessed with fifty years of marriage, five children and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren that truly adored their "Pops".
Frankie's greatest joy in life was to share the Gospel of Jesus to those around him.His funny demeanor and charming smile made him stand out in a room full of people. He was a man of strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ's love and the beauty and peace that would await him after his passing.
His family finds comfort in knowing that although he is no longer on this earth with us, we will see him again one day in Heaven.
A Military Service will be held on Thursday, February 21st, at 1:00 pm at the DFW National Cemetery at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on March 9th, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Macedonia Baptist Church at 2214 Franklin Drive, Mesquite TX 75150 with Pastor John Livaudais officiating.
Frankie is survived by his loving wife, Terry Geraldon; son, Robert Erskine; daughter, Susie (Donny) Lynch; daughter Tera (Tony) Velasquez ; son-in-law, Kenny Mitchell; sister Geraldine (Bobby) Ashcraft, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends that loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Fannie Geraldon; sister, Betty Lou Jones; son, Jimmy Geraldon; daughter, Patricia Mitchell.
