Frank Joseph Stepan II, 74, of McKinney, TX went to be with the Lord on July 8th 2025 in Dallas, TX after battling lymphoma and other health complications. Born in Pueblo, CO to Frank and Ida Stepan, Frank II graduated from Southern Colorado State College before ultimately relocating to Texas. Frank was devoted to everything he set his mind to, including his career in software engineering with companies such as Texas Instruments and Raytheon, and most of all his family.

He met the love of his life, Linda Ewen, and was married on August 9th 1980. Frank and Linda have a single son, Matthew, and Frank was a devoted father and husband every day of his life. During Matthew's upbringing Frank was a dedicated Scouter, serving McKinney's Troop 303, and supporter of Matthew's creative pursuits in theatre and music.

Frank could often be found behind a camera, using his passion for photography to capture moments in his family's and community's life. He was an enthusiastic ham radio operator, traveler, and reader. A man of faith, he was a parishioner of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church and First Christian Church of Plano.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frank and mother, Ida; brother, Tony and sister, Sally. He is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Matthew; sister, Barbara; brother, Mike; and numerous extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at First Christian Church of Plano at 11am on Saturday July 26th. In lieu of flowers please consider giving to Meals on Wheels of Collin County or, as Frank was a regular blood donor for much of his life, giving blood in this memory.
