A memorial service for Mrs. Evelyn M. Warren will be held on July 26, 2018, in Arlington, TX. Mrs. Warren was 90 when she passed July 3, 2018 in her home in Arlington, TX. Mrs. Warren was the only niece of longtime Illinois Senator Kenneth Hall. Mrs. Warren was born on July 6, 1927 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of James Vaughn and Helen Hall. Both parents preceded her in death along with her son, Curtis I. Sanders Jr.

At an early age, Evelyn following in the family's tradition, professed a love for Christ and joined the Catholic Church attending mass at the old St. Augustine Catholic Church and St. Joseph of Hippo in East St. Louis. She had attended Catholic elementary schools before graduating from Lincoln High School in 1944.

Mrs. Warren developed a penchant for numbers and was an accountant at Lane Bryant Women's Store in downtown St. Louis until her retirement. Following her retirement, she accepted a job as an accountant with L. E. Smith Jewelers formally known as Grandpa's in Collinsville, IL. In 2006, she relocated to Arlington, TX where she lived until she was called home to be with the Lord. Evelyn loved playing cards with family and friends, working crossword puzzles and was most proud of the fact she was an only child and had produced so many offspring.

Mrs. Warren is survived by a son, Anthony L. Sanders of St. Louis, Missouri; a daughter, Patricia J. Sanders of Arlington,TX; a stepson Gregory Warren and stepdaughter Rosalind Wells of East St Louis, IL.She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Jabril (Karen) Muhammad, of Atlanta, Ga.; Rheiko (Roy) Jackson, of Arlington, TX, Donte Sanders of East St. Louis, IL, Damien Sanders, and Jittaun (Antione) Isbell of St. Louis, MO, Keris Collier of Arlington, TX; other relatives include 10 great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Mansfield Funeral Home Chapel, 1556 Heritage Pkwy, Mansfield, TX76063.
