Edward Lee
Camp
Aug 27, 1965 — Jan 22, 2026
Fort Worth
Edward Lee Camp age 60, passed away January 22, 2026. Eddie was born in Panama Canal Zone in 1965 to SSG. Jerry and Shirley Camp.
Growing up, Eddie was a curious and mischievous child that usually put the blame on his siblings for his troublesome acts.
In his 20's a good friend, Abe Brown took him under his wing and taught him all about tree trimming and landscaping. Eddie started his own tree business that lasted over 30 years. He in turn guided a few friends that enabled them to start their own tree business.
He was a quiet person with a sly grin and could tell a story or a joke with a straight face. He enjoyed rebuilding bicycles, tending to his garden, and nurturing his peach trees, collecting antiques, and carving animals and other things out of wood.
He had many friends and helped several when they were down on their luck. In later years he developed health issues that slowed him down but did not stop him from doing the things he loved.
He was preceded in death by his sister: Sharon Phegley, Father: Jerry W Camp, Grandparents: J.W. and Alva Camp, Grandfather: Raymond L Landy, and Grandmother: Ruby L Lancaster. He leaves behind his mother: Shirley Camp, Brothers: Jimmy and Joe Camp, Sister: Sandra Camp, 9 nieces, 2 nephews, 11 great nieces, 4 great nephews, and many many cherished friends.
A memorial will be held Saturday, April 25th from 3pm-5pm at Holiday Inn Express in Lake Worth.
