Dorthea (Dot) Latrylle Harris passed away, peacefully, Tuesday, February 11, 2025, surrounded by family.  She was longtime resident of Bedford, Texas, and a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished sister, a doting grandmother, and a proud great-grandmother and aunt.

Dot was born in Cooper, Texas on December 21, 1935.  She attended Lampasas High school and Tarleton State University. Dot married the love of her life, Corrie Wayne (Sonny) Harris in Austin TX, March 31, 1956. They were married for 58 years until his death.

Dot was a Housewife, a Realtor, and later, a Dallas Market sales rep. Her hobbies included painting, sewing, embroidery, as well as cooking and baking. She loved her family, friends, and especially her pets, and enjoyed her volunteer time at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Murray Matthew and Robbie Corrine (Carroll) Mullican; husband, Corrie; and daughter, Suzanne Harris.

Dot is survived by her sons, Kevin Harris and his wife, Mona, Ray Harris and his wife, Cindy; her grandchildren, Clayton and his wife Rachel, Stephanie and her husband Lee, Alicia and her husband Cody, Zack and his wife Hailey, and Martin; as well as her great-granddaughter; Tess; her brother, Michael Mullican and his wife Barbara; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX  75211.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests to please make donations to either Wounded Warriors or Fossil Rim Wildlife Center.
