Doreen Lenore Gorup Schley, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on October 4, 2021 in Arlington, Texas. Doreen was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to Frank and Amelia Gorup on August 29, 1942, along with her twin brother, Dennis.
Doreen is survived by her husband, David, and 6 of their 7 children, 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her eldest child, David, and twin brother, Dennis.
Doreen devoted her life caring for her many family members and loved ones. She never met a person that she didn't talk to and consider a friend.
A celebratory mass will be held in her honor: St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 7341 Glenview Dr., Richland Hills, TX76180, Friday, October 15, 2021 at 11 a.m.
Burial to immediately follow at: Moore Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1219 Davis Dr., Arlington, TX 76012.
