Donald Wayne Holmes, 73, lived life on his own terms his own way; he never saw anything but the good in people and always helped anyone he met. Donald passed at his home in Fort Worth, TX on October 06, 2022.  He was born to Paul Holmes and Virginia Miller in Snow Lake, Arkansas on December 16, 1948 in the home.

He is survived by his children Christina Holmes and Zackariah Holmes spouse Jodie Holmes, by two grandchildren Harmonee Holmes and Eli Holmes. As well as his siblings, two brothers  Charlie Holmes, Bobbie Holmes, one sister Sherrion Smith, and numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents Paul and Virgina, his siblings Betty, Paul, Connie, Mary and James.

Donald served his country honorably in the Army during the Vietnam war; he was stationed in South Korea.

A service will be held at DFW National Cemetery on Wednesday, October 26th, at 2:30 p.m.
