Dawson was born on June 16th 1969 in Fort Worth, TX to Sylvia and Donald McGuffin and passed away November 20, 2019. Dawson had been a resident of the Fort Worth area all of his life. He enjoyed music and spending time with his family and friends. Dawson worked as a machinist since the late 1980's. He loved his work and was very talented. For the last 13 years he worked for Empire Precision Machining in Keller, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brandi McGuffin; mother, Sylvia McGuffin; father, Donald McGuffin; and brother, Gaylon McGuffin.

Dawson is survived by his daughter, Karlee Cox and husband Kerry of Fort Worth,TX, son, Coleman McGuffin and wife Ashley of Fort Worth,TX, daughter, Liberty McGuffin of Watauga,TX; granddaughters, Kallie and Kai'Lynne Cox of Fort Worth,TX; brothers, Kenneth Tywater and wife Judith of Watauga,TX, Doug Tywater and wife Terri of Austin,TX, Stanley McGuffin of Gene Autry,OK, Jimmy McGuffin and wife Christy of Gene Autry,OK; sisters, Beverly Mitchell and husband Mitch of Hurst,TX, Angela Lewis and husband, Brian of North Richland Hills,TX, and sister-in-law, Sue McGuffin as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, Dawson's children are asking for donations to help with final expenses.
