David Hopkins of Arlington, TX, died on November 27th 2018. He will be buried at Mount Olivet cemetery in Fort Worth, TX. The memorial service will take place on December 13th at 3pm at Trinity United Methodist Church, Arlington. David was born in Houston, TX and was the second son to Reverend H.M. Hopkins and Madge Hopkins. He served in Japan during WWII. He graduated with honors from UT Austin. He was employed by TCU, where he pursued graduate work. After that, he was employed in the aerospace industry and retired from General Dynamics in 1993 as a senior HR specialist. David is survived by his son, Clayton Fisher Hopkins, son of Betty Fisher Hopkins, deceased, grandson David Landry Hopkins, also by his sisters, Katy, Margaret, Ester, brother Paul, and their decedents.
