Marie Tarvin, 39, of Carrollton, TX passed away on Apr 16, 2022 suddenly at home, cause unknown.  Marie was born on Jan 8, 1983 to the late Molly Ann (Shaunfield) Setliff and Danny Duane Setliff, in Denton, Tx.

She attended North Garland High School and graduated from the University of North Texas, 2005.  Previously employed by Matt Martin Real Estate Management as Marketing Manager and recently with Fairway Independent Mortgage Company as a Reporting Analyst.

She was a champion poker player and worked as a host at AHL Poker for many years.

Marie was beautiful, had a good heart, generous, always thought of others first, respectful to a t, kind, soft spoken, smart, had a gorgeous smile, "a bright shining light".  She loved going to the beach and digging for crystals in Arkansas.

She was the best mom and wife ever, truly devoted to her boys and dogs, Arya and Dany.

Marie is survived by her loving husband of 8 years, Jonathan Rouss Tarvin and her two young sons, Joseph, 7 and Levi, 2, of the home; Father, Danny Setliff, Denton; a sister, Misty Evans; an Aunt, Annette Saunders;  Mother in law, Dawn Barnett (Dan), Hot Springs Village, AR; father in law, Charles Clayton Tarvin, Payson, AZ; brothers in law, Derek Tarvin (Marci), Aaron Tarvin (Nicol), David Tarvin (Val); grandmother in law, Nelda Wallace, Denton; numerous nieces and nephews.

Jonathan and his entire family are grateful to the outpouring of love, prayers and support from Marie's friends.

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 from 6-9pm at The Mill Street House, 322 N Mill Street (parking 103 W. Walters St), Lewisville, TX 75057.
