Obituary

Craton Douglas Looney, 72, of Fort Worth, Texas died Thursday, March 25, 2021 with his family surrounding him. He was born on February 28,1949 in Roswell, New Mexico and spent much of his time in Bovina, Texas with his grandparents, Nanny and Papaw. While attending Wayland Baptist University, he met and married the love of his life Katherine "Kathy" Hux Looney, and they were married for 44 years before she passed away in September of 2019. Together they had 4 children, Mark Looney, Angie Colley, Jason Looney, Jeanie Caselman and son in law, David Caselman. They had nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.Colton and wife, Chelsea Caselman, Rachel Caselman Pinner and husband Alec and their daughter Callie, Shelby Wilkerson, Kayla and wife, Brittney Wilkerson, Jacob Wilkerson, Devin Jones, Katy Jones, Treagin Caselman and Tavy Caselman.He is survived by his sister and brother in law, Kim and Bob Bruno, his step-father, Jerry Peckinpaugh and many cousins and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Looney, his mother, Mary Peckinpaugh, his father, D.C. Looney, his brother and sister-in-law, R.D. and Gale Looney.His in-laws, Truett and Norma Hux and brother in law, Tommy Brewer.A Celebration of Life will be held on April 10, 2021 at 4 P.M. at Fellowship Baptist Church, 1600 Old Decatur Rd, Saginaw, Texas 76179.The service will also be live streamed on Facebook for those who cannot attend in person. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Colorectal Cancer Research or American Diabetes Association.
