Corina was born on September 6, 1955 in Marfa, Texas to Ventura Chavez Herrera and Luz Villanueva.
Preceded in death by her parents, Ventura Chavez Herrera and Luz Villanueva; and her brother, Rudy Herrera.
She is survived by her daughter, Clarissa Herrera; grandson, Ethan Moran; siblings, Conchita Vasquez and husband, Loretto, Benny Herrera and wife, Sarah, Ernest Herrera and wife, Diana, Nora Alvarez, Sara Ontiveroz and husband, Glen and Jose Herrera; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
