Charles Franklin Petty,

otherwise known as Chuck; or Chuckles; passed away on September 9th 2023.

He has 1 remaining brother, out of 8 siblings, residing in Georgia.

He leaves behind his biological daughter Catherine Petty Rogers and her children, Isaac Petty Gonzalez, Caitlin Rogers, and Courtney Rogers with her 2 children. Also, Jesse Gutierrez with his children Virginia, Eliana, Christian, and Josh. Also, Blanca Moore and her two children Rylan and Adrian.

Chuck was born on November 1st 1939, in Mobile Alabama. He attended Maplewood seventh-day Adventist academy in Minnesota.

Chuck has been widowed by two great loves in his life; James Richardson who passed away in 88. And he was lucky enough to marry his last love in 2015 Ernest Castillo, who passed away in 2021.

His hobbies included music, traveling, theater, arts, photography, interior design.

Chuck moved to Fort Worth Texas in the early '70s and instantly called it home. Chuck had a full-time job as a beautician. So it's completely amazing that he had the time to volunteer his time to such organizations as Octoberfest, Mayfest, Pioneer Days being on the board of entertainment.

Chuck has taught cotillion with the Bruce Lee Dance Factory for many many years and also with his daughter Catherine in the Burleson area. He has been a volunteer in numerous local theaters around our metroplex making people look and feel beautiful with his talent of wigs. He called Casa Manana his home. Chuck has even graced a couple of those stages with his beautiful singing voice; though he prefers to be behind the wings.

This beautiful soul Will be missed by so many in our metroplex. He was truly an angel on earth.
