Cecil L. Irving, Jr., 69, of Fort Worth, TX, passed away on February 4, 2021.
He was born in Fort Worth, TX, November 6, 1951 to the parents of Cecil L. Irving, Sr. and Juanita Irving. Cecil graduated for Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School. He fell in love and married Phyllis Johnson and that union produced a daughter. Later in life he married Doris Dula and that union produced another daughter and two sons.
Cecil had many talents. In his teens he was known around Fort Worth as one the best mechanics in town. He and his father prepared to open a shop. He also had a love for fast cars. He would race his Camaro on the weekends professionally. After settling down and starting a family he became a CDL licensed truck driver for over 20 years. On the side he worked as a carpenter as well.
He was survived by his four children, Amy Denise Stewart and husband, Robert, Christina Irving, Andrae Boger and Tommy Boger; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other friends and relatives.
