Cathy Poppel, 72, of Haltom City,TX unexpectedly passed 2/24/2023. Survived by husband Richard Anderson, son Travis Poppel and wife Lisa, daughter Megan Poppel, grandchildren Tyler and Haylee Poppel, Taylor and Carson Waltman, Devin Tankersley and Isaac Donley. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Lorraine Carlson Stillwater, MN., sister Christine Carlson and brother Doug Carlson St. Paul, MN. Retired from BNSF Railway after 39 years of service.  She was born and raised in St. Paul, MN and loved to play sports with her friends and to go on adventures with her children. She moved to Texas in 1992 to follow her job and had many close friends with the railroad. She was very proud of all her grandchildren and loved to hear about the experiences of her family.
