Carolyn Lee Schuchardt Eaves of Arlington, Texas passed away February 8th at a local hospital due to heart complications at the age of 80. Born on November 28, 1940 in Pope County, Illinois to Sylvia Caroline Mitchell and Hershel Schuchardt, she was the youngest of four children. As an adult, shemoved to Texas where she met the love of her life, Harry "Oneal" Eaves while they both worked at Sears and Roebuck in Dallas. They married in 1959 and had two sons; Scott Oneal Eaves of Fort Worth, Texas and Sandon Lee Eaves of Arlington, Texas. Carolyn is preceded in death by her brother, Norman Hershel Schuchardt; and sister, Nettie Lavern (Crain) Schuchardt. Surviving siblings are her brother, Norris Schuchardt and Nola (Manor) Schuchardt both of Pope County, Illinois.

Those that knew Carolyn often mentioned her outgoing disposition, infectious laugh and overall loving spirit. She was kind, personable and loved her husband and children passionately. We will be forever touched by her love and she will remain in our hearts forever. She will be sorely missed by all of her family.

Carolyn will be interred in Linden, Texas alongside her husband, Harry Oneal who predeceased her. There will be no formal services held. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to the American Heart Association.
