Carol Mitchell, 69, passed away peacefully at Marine Creek Nursing Home on January 10 ^th .  Carol was born in Washington to Emerson 'Bud' Mitchell and Shirley Anne (Wiedeman) Mitchell. She had suffered from Dementia for a number of years. Carol was raised in Washington, California, and Nevada.  Mina, a small town in Nevada, was Carol's home for over 3 decades.  She had a great sense of humor, enjoyed repairing the slot machines and throwing a good party filled with music and dancing.   Carol is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Michael Walter Bentley.  Five and a half years ago, Carol moved to the DFW area in Texas to be near her sister, Kay Owen of Fort Worth and her niece, Angelina Brown of Flower Mound.
