Carol Ann Birdwell, 62, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on October 15, 2021 in her home.Ms. Birdwell was born on July 23, 1959 to Dr. and Mrs. Henry V. Birdwell, Jr.

Carol graduated from of Arlington Heights High School in 1977.She continued her education at the University of Texas and attained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science in 1981.She fulfilled her long-time dream of becoming an Attorney-at-Law, graduating from Texas Tech Law School in 1984.She began her legal career in Springtown, Texas and built a private practice in Family Law in Fort Worth.She was passionate for the law and tirelessly devoted herself to representing her clients.
Many people were touched by her love for Jesus, God's grace and her service to others.She was an active member of Metropolitan Baptist Church and had many friends who loved her dearly.

She enjoyed being a "cat mom," taking walks, singing her favorite 1980's soft rock classic songs and Dallas Cowboy football.She had a talent for combining humor into creative writing and had an unmatched ability to formulate witty phrases for political and societal events.Her humor and quick wit were loved by all.

Ms. Birdwell is survived by her love, Bill Jerrell; her father, Dr. Henry V. Birdwell, Jr.; siblings CDR, USN (Retired) David M. Birdwell, Joan Birdwell Reese, Jan Birdwell White, and Becky Birdwell Walker; In-laws Cindy Birdwell, Jim Reese, Ron White and Mark Walker; nieces Danna Birdwell, Brie Walker, Kaydee Reese-Pishinins, Kelly Reese-Rashall; nephews David M. Birdwell II, Ryan Walker, Sage Craver and Mario Birdwell.
A "Celebration of Life" was held on Sun., Oct. 24, 2021 at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 6051 Azle Ave., Fort Worth, TX. 76135 at 3:00 p.m.
A graveside service will be held at a date to be announced.
