Carin Gunn DeValCourt, aged 57, passed away on November 10, 2024, in Weatherford, Texas. Born on May 11, 1967, in New Orleans, Carin was a beacon of kindness, embodying a caring, loving, and thoughtful nature throughout her life.

A proud alumna of West Jefferson High School, Carin furthered her education at the University of New Orleans, nurturing a foundation that would support a successful career. Professionally, Carin dedicated many years to Kobrand Corporation as an Executive Administration Assistant, where her diligence and dedication was well recognized.

Carin's life was rich with personal interests and community involvement. She was a member of the Blue Belle Parent Club for 5 years and found joy in cooking and baking. Recently Carin took an interest in fishing that allowed her to share cherished moments with family and friends.

Carin leaves behind a loving family: her father, William Gunn II; brother, William Robert Gunn; husband, Kurt DeValCourt; and daughters, Rebecca Rene and Elizabeth Jolie DeValCourt. She was preceded in death by her mother, Brigitte Gunn.

A memorial service to honor Carin's life will be held at Willow Park Baptist Church on Friday, November 22, 2024, between 10:00 - 11:00am.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to any animal shelter of your choosing to reflect Carin's love for animals.

Carin's warmth and generosity deeply touched all who knew her, and she will be profoundly missed.
