On January 26, 2023, Boyd passed away at home. He was a very happy, active, dancing, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and retired Police Officer.

Boyd served 8 years in the USAF and 38 years in Law Enforcement. He enjoyed family gatherings and was very proud to walk Betsy down the aisle. He shared 15 years of love and adventures with his wife, Carol Raburn. He loved photography and traveling with Carol especially on their Alaskan Cruise and later on their Alaskan RV trip.

Boyd and Carol really enjoyed country western dancing and treasured their dance friend's parties. He traveled with Carol to the annual Society of Women Engineers Conferences for many years and doing a photo booth for headshots for students. He treasured the beach vacations with Carol, Zack, and Austin and enjoyed the get-togethers with his fellow Police Officers and all the memories they shared.

Boyd was a man of strong faith in God, he loved exploring and he encouraged others to pursue their dreams. He lived a very happy life and really enjoyed making Carol laugh. He was loved by many and will be in our hearts forever. He was preceded in death by his son, Brad; great-grandson, Andrew; brother, Jerry Raburn; and nephew, Curtis.

Boyd leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Carol Raburn; his children, Taryn Raburn, Cody Raburn, Brandon Stanley, Zack Pearch and Betsy Pearch; and his grandchildren, Shawn, Xaq, Bryce, Jaina, Jaden, Katie, Sammy and Austin; and great-granddaughter, Arrow.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1330 S. Fielder Rd., Arlington, TX  76013. Graveside will held at a later date.
