Bobby Lee Allen, 84, passed away suddenly on June 10, 2026, at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, Texas.

Bobby was born in Stamford, Texas, on October 11, 1941. His parents were Wilma and Russell Dorse Lee Allen. He grew up with a smile on his face and had an outstanding work ethic. He was very healthy and rarely, if ever, called in sick to work at Duo-Fast Corporation. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, fishing, and playing country music.

He met Darleen at O.W. Holmes Junior High School, in 1957, Oak Cliff, Texas. They eventually married and had three children: Donna, Vicki, and Steven. While their shared journey was often challenging, Bobby lived a life distinctly his own.

Fishing with his family in and around the Pecan Gap area of Texas was a cherished pastime. He couldn't wait to see his family and friends, go fishing, and have a good fish fry afterward. A favorite family memory is when he, his brother Michael, and the other men would clean all the fish they caught while the women—Wilma, Billie, Tootie, Diane, Teresa, and the wives—prepared all the side dishes and desserts.

When he wasn't working at Duo-Fast Corporation, country music was a major part of his life. Country music wasn't just a hobby for Bobby; it was a way of life. The greatest achievement of Bobby's musical career came much later in life. He received an invitation to perform on stage at Willie's Place Theatre with George Uptmor and the Texas Bluebonnet Playboys. They performed alongside such acts as Johnny Bush, Tommy Alverson, Charley Pride, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and many others during Willie Nelson's Fourth of July pre-picnic warm-up. The Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce hosted the event as part of the BioWillie Fuel Music Festival.

He is survived by three of his siblings and their families; his wife and children and their families; his grandchildren and their families; his great-grandchildren; cousins; nieces and nephews; and many close friends who will cherish his memory forever.

Bobby will be remembered for his smile, his work ethic, his happiness, his sense of humor, and the countless lives he touched through his country music. He and his music will be forever missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Pecan Gap, Texas, at a later date.
