Blake Matthew Maxwell, 23, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on December 31, 2023.

Blake was born on December 31, 2000, to Brooks and Jeanne Maxwell in Arlington, Texas. He graduated from Martin High School in 2019.

In his short life, Blake left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

He was happiest serving others as a youth counselor for VBS and at Briarwood camp. Blake loved to make people smile, and he had a true gift for working with young people.

He is survived by his parents, Brooks and Jeanne Maxwell, his grandfather, William Dineen, and many family members in Arizona, Ohio, and Texas.

Services will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church 4729 S Carrier Pkwy, Grand Prairie Texas, 75052 on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Blake's name to Cross Trails Ministry at crosstrails.org.

While we mourn the loss of Blake, we are comforted by the many people who have reached out to share pictures and happy memories of his short time on this Earth.
