Billie passed away Wednesday June 7th, 2023, in Blue Mound, Texas at the age of 79 from Dementia.

Billie was born September 15th, 1943, in Winston Salem, North Carolina.  She was the daughter of William and Margaret Croker, Sr.

Billie, known to her family as Jean, was the oldest of ten children.  Jean was an Army Brat and met her husband, Roy at the skating rink by Fort Bragg at a young age and married in 1961.  Later, they moved to Texas where Roy was brought up. Roy and Jean raised 4 amazing children and had a great presence in their seven grandchildren's lives.  Jean could pick up any baby and cradle them for hours while laying on the couch with a great mystery novel.  The weekends were spent with any one of her grandchildren or great-grandchildren in toe. There was nothing more important than family to Jean.  She was a natural when it came to being a Caregiver to the elderly or the young.  Jean loved cooking and baking for her family for cookouts, birthdays, and holiday dinners.  Her loving heart, laughter and smile will never be forgotten.

Preceded in Death: Husband- Roy Willbanks, Sr. of 59 years.  Son- Richard Willbanks.  Parents - William and Margaret Croker, Sr.  Brothers – William Croker Jr, Richard Croker, Donald Croker, and Robert Croker.  Sisters – Barbara Salas and Margaret (Queenie) Williams

Survivors: Sisters, Patricia Adams, Sandy Flores, and Carolyn Griffin; Son, Roy Willbanks Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah, and Celso Cabral; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny, and April Willbanks Sr.; Grandchildren, Guillermo Willbanks, Lachaunda LaRue, Heather Campos and husband Chance, Johnny Ray Willbanks Jr., Joshua Willbanks, Angelo Cabral and JayC Willbanks.  Great-Grandchildren, Matthew LaRue, Kaelyn Willbanks, Lila LaRue, William Willbanks, Ryenn, and Hayden Campos; and extended Family and Friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Twin Oaks Baptist Church, 1301 S. Main Street, Keller, TX  76248.
