Billy Elwood Keeth, 80, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018.He was born on December 9, 1937, in Okemah, Oklahoma to Grady Elwood Keeth and Dorothy Quinby Harris Keeth.He graduated from Irving High School in 1956. From there, he joined the United States Air Force in July of 1956. He was Top Secret Security Clearance in the United States Air Force Security Service as a Morse Intercept Operator, copied Morse Code, in Tripoli, Libya.In 1962, he married the love of his life, Virginia May Griffin.In 1967, he graduated from the first class of The University of Texas at Arlington.He will be layed to rest at DFW Military Cemetery with military honors.
Billy was an avid athlete. He especially enjoyed baseball and golf. He was also a Golden Glove Boxer in his youth. He loved his family with all his heart and was always involved all of their activities.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Virginia Keeth of Arlington, TX.He leaves behind 3 children, sons: Roger Michael Keeth and Randal Todd Keeth, both of Arlington, TX, and daughter: Kristi Lynn Schneider and husband, Steve, of Caledonia, MI; brother, Jerry Keeth and wife, Norma; grandchildren: Ashley Jordan Lobben and husband, Austin, Amanda Rochelle Keeth, John Colben Bartlett, Nicole Kristine Bartlett, Brock Keeth Bartlett, Zachary Steven Schneider, Townes Elwood Keeth; great-grandchildren: Caden and Peyton Lobben, and Gage and Kaiah Carroll; cousins, Pat McLaughlin, Gail Jackson, and Jan Gotcher; nieces, Karima Keeth and Karen Sanders; nephews, Wayne Keeth, Greg Keeth, and their mother, Judy Keeth, and Gary Keeth
He will be missed deeply.
