Obituary

Betty Jean Dreiling was born November 10, 1947 in Milton, FL to Aubrey and Dora Cumbie. Betty was the fourth of nine children. She was a deeply caring and fiercely independent soul. The Bible says that a "good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favor rather than silver and gold." Proverbs 22:1.

Everywhere Betty went, she established a good name for herself. She was a student of the martial arts, served on dangerous search and rescue missions in Colorado, and healed the wounded as a nurse in Fort Worth. Her greatest achievement is the legacy passed to her children, three became Veterans of Foreign Wars, and one followed her lead to become a nurse.

Back in February of 1989 Betty accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior six months after seeing the changes God made in her oldest sons life. Upon his death on the Cross, Jesus cried out loud and said,"Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." Father God this day we commit the spirit of our dear loved one into your hands. She is survived by her husband Gary, her four children; Mitch, Micky, Marshall, and Gynene, and her twelve grand babies.
