Betty Jane Crumpler, amazing wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, Nanny and friend went home to be with Jesus on Friday, December 11, 2020. A private family graveside service will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Colleyville, Friday, December 18, 2020.

She was born on June 21, 1935 in Hope, Arkansas to Erskine Neil and Ellen Lou Bacon and grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana. There she met and married the love of her life of 66 years, Johnie Crumpler, on June 12, 1954.

Betty was the church pianist for several churches, taught hand-bells and children's choirs, and gave private piano lessons to countless students who adored her.

Through the years Betty also held positions with Standard Oil Company, McDonnell Douglas, the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, but the job that she held most dear was that of pastor's wife.

Betty's love of Christ knew no bounds, and ultimately that love took her on mission trips to Africa, Austria and Tawain.That passion was never more impactful than when Betty helped create and became the first director of the Crisis Pregnancy Center in Euless, TX.That ministry saved untold babies, changed many young ladies' lives, and helped build on the biblical foundation of family through her joint efforts with the Buckner Adoption Agency.

Betty's love for life was also quite evident in her hobbies which included playing the piano, sewing, shopping with her daughters, ice skating, making jewelry, antiquing, painting and serving her family and others.

Betty is preceded in death by her Mom and Dad, and survived by her loving husband, Johnie, her 3 children - son, Kevin Crumpler (Kandis), daughters, Robyn Ross (Allan), Rebecca Harville (Ken); grandchildren - Ashley (Philip), Austin (Roxana), Tyler, Stephani (Jon), Michael (Willow), Bradley (Mallori), Amy (Josh), Logan (Taylor); 10 great grandchildren - Hunter, Mayson, Jolene, Noah, Knox, Brazos, Daniela, Asher, Brayker, and Finley. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Fair and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She will be missed by all, but we have peace in knowing that we will see her again in Heaven one day!
