Barbara Ann Foster, 77, passed away May 9, 2020 with her loving husband, John M. Foster, at her side. Barbara was a native of Fort Worth and the first of 5 children to Thurman & Runnel Murphy. She was preceded in death by all but 1 of 5 siblings, younger brother, Paul.

Barbara graduated from Trimble Tech High School in 1960 and worked as an information operator at Southwestern Bell up until her marriage to Johnny on June 20, 1968. She was a full-time homemaker and part-time bookkeeper for their forklift business until 1992. The next few years fulfilled a lifelong desire to mentor troubled youth at the New Mexico Boys Ranch. She and Johnny moved backed to Fort Worth permanently where they were members of Bethesda Community Church and later attended City on a Hill church.

In addition to her husband & brother, Barbara is survived by her son Jonathan, his wife Carolyn, and 2 grandchildren, Sophia & Garrison. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Salvation Army or Voice of the Martyrs.
