Archie B. Williams, a longtime resident of Grand Prairie, passed away October 17, 2019 in Mansfield, TX surrounded by his family. He was born in Mesquite, TX on April 4, 1945 to A.B. Williams and Hellen Marie Leonard. He worked for 20 years for Lone Star Cadillac and 3 years for Massey Cadillac. Archie loved fishing, tinkering with cars (there wasn't anything he couldn't fix) and barbequing for his family. His greatest joy came from spending time with his wife, children and especially his grandkids.
A loving husband, father, and grandpa, Archie was survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Carolyn Smith Williams; daughters Kim Carson (fiance Danny Sharpe), Tami Head (spouse Jonathan Head), and Angie Carson; Grandkids Lauren Graf (spouse Andrew Graf), Cameron Head, and Madison Head (fiance Brandon Patrick). He is also survived by his sisters Daisy Perry and Shirley Payton; brothers Mike Johnson and Edward Williams, and a host of family and friends who loved him dearly.
