Andrew Jason Sample O'Cathain passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas. Andrew was born on October 17, 1979 to Gerald and Jarrelyn Sample in Houston, TX. At a young age, his family moved to North Texas where he remained until he moved to North Carolina. Shortly after his service in the United States Army he returned to Fort Worth.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, caring heart, and most of all his love of being a father. Andrew was proud to be a veteran of the United States Army. Andrew was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Richard Sample; mother, Jarrelyn Trice Sample; and brother, Kenneth Lee Sample.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie Fleming; sons, Kieran Richard Sample and Braden Carr; daughter, Rory Lott; sisters, Robin (Joseph) Brown of Fort Worth TX, Sonja Haas of Castro Valley CA, Jackie Sample of Westerville OH; and brother, Herb (Bobbie) Sample of Edison OH, and many friends who will miss him dearly.
