Allen Edgar Blackburn, 76, of Bedford peacefully passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018.
He was born in New Albany, Indiana on August 16, 1941 to Allen and Louise Blackburn.
Allen, known to his family and friends as Big Al and Boots, leaves behind his wife, Karen Blackburn; daughter, Jill Rareshide and husband, Michael; son, Jim Blackburn; daughter, Tara Staples and husband, Justin; his 6 grandchildren that adored him, Emerson, Scarlett, Mason, Brittany, Austin, and Michael; his loyal pups, Jazzy and Sadie; and many other family and friends. We smile at the memories though our hearts are broken. Fly High Daddy!
Memorial Service to be held at Fellowship of the Parks, 1901 Hall Johnson Road, Grapevine, TX 76051, Saturday, August 11th at 1pm.
