On November 2, 2023, Alberto Angel Martinez passed away in Fort Worth at the age of 33. Alberto was born on June 29,1990 in Nocona, TX, to José Antonio Martinez  and Maria Rafaela Martinez.

Alberto is survived by his father, José Antonio Martinez of Zacatecas; and siblings Imelda Hernandez and husband, Julian Hernandez, Estevan Martinez and wife, Chelo Martinez,  Arnulfo Martinez and wife, Maria Elia Martinez, Brenda Martinez and husband, Michael Ruiz,  and Shane Martinez and wife, Perla Martinez. He is also survived by his girlfriend Kassie Childers whom he met in 2011, and several nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Rafaela Martinez.

Alberto graduated from Northwest High School in 2009 and went on to attend culinary school at the Art Institute of Dallas. Alberto was very passionate about his cooking. He loved his job and truly considered it a work of art.

No memorial service or funeral is planned. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to a charity or nonprofit of your choice.
